Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/12/2018

Number: 20

In my back yard and on the highway south 277 to San Angelo and 158 west to Robert Lee and north 277 to Abilene, saw large adult Monarchs flutter in front of a mild cold front that brought the temperatures down and eventually lead to rain. They have not come in large enough groups to roost over night in the trees in the north east side of town yet. Looking forward to 100's of them in the coming weeks to visit Bronte as they stop by their annual roost on their way to Mexico.
