At Audubon "Lake Bluff Bird Sanctuary" 100 foot very steep cliff above Lake Michigan, then within 50 feet of forested top edge is a big area maintained as a native prairie field. Lots of Goldenrod in bloom, tall and thick. That's the only nectar plant. I saw it flitting along the trail we were on. Did not see if it landed on a flower.
