I have two feeders, which feed from 4 to 6 hummingbirds throughout the Spring and Summer months. Normally, my last sighting is the first week of September, however, This year, my last sighting was on September 13 - a female. I still have the two feeders hanging with no sign of activity. As we are experiencing unusually warm temperatures (27°C with humidex of 35°C) and Hurricane Florence in full swing, I am wondering if this has impacted their departure.
