While doing our evening Monarch count at West Beach spotted a juvenile sitting in a dead tree adjacent to the beach. Lake was calm, beach was deserted. When I got out to take it's picture it flew away. Scared up a flock of seagulls. Magnificent. (27 Monarchs)
