Counted 29 larva on that one tropical milkweed in picture attached. Counted 87 all together around the common and tropical milkweed in my yard I had taken most that I could find inside the house for 4 days before I thought hurricane Florence was going to hit. We were fortunate and only had tropical storm so I took them back outside yesterday. I also have 37 in chrysalis. I saw an adult female yesterday and she may have been laying eggs but I’m not positive because she flew away before I could tell. I have still seen some eggs on the milkweed but few because the larva are busy eating every leaf they can find.
