Just reported monarchs at my Mexican Sun Flowers. It's really hot so I stood in the shade and watched them. They took shade breaks. They'd feed for awhile and then fly to a tree or shrub landing on the shady side. My face is flushed because of the heat and this behavior is completely understandable.
