At The Tip at Point Pelee National Park
25°c & Humid with 15 kmh NE wind
Beautiful clear blue sun shiny day all day. Perfect for Monarchs to arrive & leave without stopping & continuing south across Lake Erie to journey to Mexico.
5:35-7:35pm 3 Monarchs seen
7:35-8pm 29 arrived from the west & flitted to a tall Hackberry Tree & 1 on a vine just north of the Tip Shuttle Stop. At dusk a cluster of 4 was seen.
If you're at the Tip on a nice day like today, just stand & watch Monarchs arrive from east & west sides, continue to the Tip & flutter south out over the lake & out of view.
