planted butterfly bush & milkweed, then added misc flowers this year. Since June we had 1 or 2 butterflies about every day. On milkweed which went to seed way too soon, and on butterfly bush, some on marigolds... until 3-4 weeks ago: no more sightings those weeks..(We've had unusually wet windy storms come thru this summer often) Saw 1 butterfly yesterday, another day before. always on butterfly bush. TODAY I saw a monarch on the flower in photo. 2nd was on butterfly bush. **note if I have time I'll report earlier other photos & sightings soon.**
