One monarch every ten minutes at today’s Cubs game in the lower level infield. There ended up being 21 fly by while we watched the game. It was a pitcher's duel so we noticed them more than we otherwise would have.
My wife took this picture of us at Wrigley Field. She joked that the monarch was the same one over and over that it couldn't get out of the ball park. I saw one the afternoon before while watching the game on tv and one floated up during an at bat from behind the umpire which got me looking when we went the next afternoon. Too funny. My daughter is at Illinois state and she has been seeing them every day for two weeks.
