Lots of action today. A new male showed up and the females were not having any of him. One female, whom I named The Queen, sat atop the feeder and did not budge as the male tried the buzz her and chase her away. I watched this for over an hour. The second female would come in and get into the fray but the alpha female held her thrown. She is still sitting atop the feeder now and it is dusk!
