Writing this on 9/17. Last sighting 9/14, when there were 2 maybe 3 visiting all day. These were vistors, could tell by their more fluttery behavior. Most of the regulars left around Labor Day. Had seen at least 2 birds all day feeding on flowers and feeders until 9/14. Was a wonderful season for hummers; August brought lots of babies the most activity I’ve seen yet so far in a number of years.
