I observed 6 monarchs at home today. Throughout the day at different times. Wind NNE at 7 mph . All the monarchs were directionaly flying toward southwest . Most were high up. I did see one however come across my yard heading south . Flying as if it had places to go. Passed up goldenrod and continued south at a rapid pace.
I was disappointed that there weren’t big numbers like I have seen the past few days.
