14 monarchs flying west along 1.5 km path near shore of Lake Ontario , observed over 10 min. 21C mostly sunny, winds light 13km/hr NW gust to 20km/hr. 8:50 AM.

Also observed 17 in nearby medow over a period of 20 min from 8: 30 AM. Area of medow is 100 Mx200M. I covered 1.3 km of trails criss crossing medow. I reported a count there last night just before sunset and had 3 times this many.
