We had 4 monarchs here until about 2:30 p:m. Then there was a sudden influx and I could count 12 for sure. There could have been more as they were flying all around the yard and feeding at bushes. This was the most I have seen at one time this year.
It was feeling like 36C/97F and the winds were from the north at 15 km/hr. and lots of sunshine. A perfect day for the monarchs to travel. Monarch Watch Waystation #13039
