A few monarchs emerged from chrysalis during the past week. The one I spotted was probably one of those. A few chrysalis on our wooden fence and other places in our yard ( maple tree trunk, wheelbarrow, wheel on wheelbarrow, and a tarp covering some straw) are still hanging. I hope they make it.
