We continue to have a strong showing by these amazing hummingbirds. Had 12 to start with in the morning but it seems 2 had left by this evening. Did not see immature male that was very recognizable by the pattern of red throat feathers. And a female that had a very distinct perching spot was not seen during the evening. They are feeding heavily from annual salvias, firecrackers, and nectar feeders. Quitting time was 7:36 p.m. Oakdale Mn.
