Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/19/2018

Number: 15

Hello bird people, tonight while watching the monarchs fly between the tithonia and the butterfly bush I spotted my first tagged monarch, tag # ywx 562.
It is a male that is pretty tattered and worn, some of it's legs were missing, made it difficult to hang onto the flowers. It did try to mate but was unsuccessful. To those who haven't grown tithonia, try it, it truly is a monarch magnet.
