Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/14/2018

Number: 12

My wife Judy and I spotted a dozen monarchs in a very short time heading south-southwest while paddle boarding in the middle of Squam Lake in NH on Friday, Sept 14. Aside from the wonderfully magical experience of seeing monarchs floating next to us and right above while in the middle of a beautiful body of water, it was also special for us because in our area where we live (Riegelsville, PA), we were lucky to see that many all season! And to hear of the huge numbers being spotted in Ontario - Wow. That is encouraging for the future!
