50+ pelicans were flying together and circling near the Mississippi River in South St. Paul over Concord Street in the mid-morning. They might have been migrating or moving elsewhere. We don't usually have pelicans in the metro part of the Mississippi River, but sometimes we have pelicans in the lakes near the Minnesota River near Bloomington, MN.
