They were feeding/nectaring from our Mexican sunflowers. Also friends have seen 1000's of Monarchs in Ottawa, OH... stopping to feed from fields which have clover blooming (they have harvested their crops already and their clover cover crop is blooming... perfect for the hungry Monarchs after their Lake Erie crossing
