On Cedar beach there were 1000s on the sand. Every step we took they fluttered up before us. It was truly amazing!

Really hard to quantify the number. Every step we took 10 would flutter up from the sand. We spent 40 minutes (about 250/min) in total awe walking the Lake Erie beach.
