observation time 8:30am until 9:30am. temperature 65 degrees, damp 100% humidity, winds 5-7mph out of the NE switching to ENE during observation time. Observed verifiably were 4 separate adult females (one being quite dominate) and 2 young adult males, one being very small, he flew in fast from the north drank a long time and then bolted southward he was not viewed again coming into feeders the rest of the day. Little remains of hummer attractant blooms besides our Red Heart Rose-of-Sharon and hanging petunia baskets. Bee activity has escalated and hindered hummers trying to feed at feeders.
