I teach Kindergarten in Ferris, Texas at Ingram Elem. We have been watching on the Journey North website the migration of the monarchs as they travel south to Mexico. We live in Texas and know how fortunate we are to be in a state where many travel through on their journey south in the Fall. We were on the playground yesterday and some of my boys spotted the 1st monarch we have seen. We noticed on the map that there had not been any reported yet in Texas and the class was so excited to be able to post their sighting. We cant wait to see more in the following days/weeks.
