I spotted a tagged female Monarch Butterfly in my neighbors yard and contact WSU. The tag on the butterfly reads Monarch@WSU.edu EO195. Dr. David James who is head of the Flight of the Monarch returned my call. This Butterfly was released on Sept.4th from Yakima Washington. I spotted on Sept. 18th in the very small town of Glenns Ferry. He feels this could be history in the making for this Monarch because when released in Washington they fly to California.
