I observed 30 monarchs near Marion Ohio. 6 were east of town in a thousand foot stretch along the railroad. And 27 were west of town . There was a brisk southerly breeze preventing them from flying far. In the same place I saw 10 yesterday there were 27 on the leeward side of the tree . I walked by and some would come forth from the weeds and brush and fly up and land on the tree branches. There had to be more there than I didn’t see. One had to look hard to see them. Remarkable
