The tree in our son's yard at Everest, KS had a bunch of Monarch butterflies. Also note that students and staff at Everest Middle School have been seeing Monarch caterpillars outside the school a few days prior to the butterflies seen.

Ironically, my husband who works near Lancaster, KS saw tons of dragon flies in the sky! He said that there was so many of them that it looked like morning fog; although, it was dragonflies in flight and they were heading south. He said that it was the neatest thing ever!
