It was another fantastic fall day here in the middle of the USA. Temps reached 78 with ESE winds around 10-15, sunny, humidity started to return today.
We had monarchs in and out all day today. Stopping to feed on the butterfly bush.
All appeared large, bright and healthy. They did not stay very long. Refueled and headed off to the SW.
The forecast is calling for another two days of above normal temps and strong South winds. I suspect the migration may slow over the next 48 hours but a cold front out of the NW is expected to arrive Tuesday which will give our friends the tail winds they are searching for.
