Conservative estimate of 20 monarchs here today in our gardens. It was a sunny day, butterflies arriving in small groups, feeding extensively and then leaving. More would come and take their place. The high was feeling like 70F and we had light winds from the NE changing then to E later in the afternoon. We are seeing many more males than females. But all are in very pristeen condition.
