Monarch Waystation #271 reports a female monarch seen laying eggs on the remnants of the leaves of ABC [i.e., "already been chewed"] tropical and other milkweeds growing in both front and back yards from 1:15 pm on and off through the rest of the cloudy day. Watched her just miss getting caught in a large spider web in the center of the front yard.
