Monarch Waystation #271 reports that four 5th instar larvae pupated today while 13 other 5th instars were feeding on various milkweeds indoors, "topping off" before their upcoming "walkabouts." These larvae were taken in over the last few days as they were found while gardening. A few other smaller larvae may remain outside, since I always go in to check if I have containers for them before taking them in. When I return they may be gone, for various reasons.
