Counted six ruby throated hummers this evening. Had been seeing 3 or 4 during the day. Lots of nectaring at the salvias and firecrackers. Last hummer left the yard at 7:12 p.m. This is several minutes earlier than last night. Might have been because of heavy clouds moving in and maybe a rainstorm. Oakdale MN.
