Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/24/2018

Number: 2

I had at least 3 juvenile males a week ago. They fed regularly for 2 weeks and were all seen chasing each other. They love the rose of Sharon, orange coreopsis, morning glories, coral bell honeysuckle, and coleus blooms along with 3 hummingbird feeders. Two left my area last Friday morning, 9-21-2018. This left one that stuck out a day long rain. I saw him feeding both morning and evening. Saturday morning he drank up and by 9 a.m. he was gone. Didn’t see any hummingbirds Saturday evening. Sunday evening I saw a new visitor, much smaller. It went to blooms but didn’t stop at feeders. Today 2-4 hummingbirds.
