When I arrived home after my 4.0 mile run on the W&OD Trail, I saw four (2 males & 2 females) Monarch Butterflies nectaring on the Butterfly Bush. It was not raining at 12:06 p.m. today when I took photos of this rather beatened/battered male Monarch Butterfly. His hindwings are rather tattered and his left one looks like it has been crinkled like a piece of paper. I think he has seen better days. At least he was enjoying the Butterfly Bush.
