Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/25/2018

Number: 4

My husband & I noticed the new ones that came yesterday were probably females migrating thru. They were very large & were pretty fat, all white front. We,also noticed they were used to humans & were not afraid or skittish around us. They would easily feed while we werd standing only 3 feet away. They must have just been fueling up & resting 1 day b4 forging on. They must have left sometime this am after feeding as this afternoon things were pretty quite. I thought everyone left until I took some feeders in to clean them. That is when I noticed the 'regulars' coming to the kitchen feeder. There is 1 adult male Ruby & the rest appear 2 B juveniles w flecks of color appearing. We have at least 1 BC juvi & 1 Ruby juvi seen in still pictures. I am unable 2 determine if there is a female in the group from this Summer. The male RT has picked a feeder away from the youngsters. There are 2 young ones that w share a feeder. They could b siblings. It w b so very quite when they all leave. Loved the action yesterday that the traverlers brought.
