First I saw one Monarch near my church about a half mile from my residence at around 1 p.m. It was just flying across the parking lot from east to west. Then at my home from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. I saw 2 Monarchs actively feeding for hours at our buddleia bush. They would flutter around, nectar for a time, fly off and then return several minutes later. The temps were in the low 70s and humid with rain showers now and then.
