brought in 2 "js" from patch. look punny---maybe infected with tachnid fly.

also brought in 4 big cats to feed until they form "j's"

finally spotted 4 other eggs in patch. Have no hope for them. entering into cold weather here. days warm but nights into 40's.

Patch starting to recover and send out new sprouts and flowers. Not much for newly hatched monarch to feed on.
