Sighted one taking off and flying high, then catching the wind and soaring away.
Another was taking short flights and landing on ground and resting before attempting again, the third just emerged from a chrysalis which was on a dying blade of grass. The butterfly stayed beside the chrysalis for a long period of time. I did not stay to watch it take off. Photo shows this new butterfly and the deserted chrysalis.
