Spotted 33 Monarchs on this dark gray cloudy day.Not much activity compared to yesterday. I observed over a four hour period from 3 pm until 7 pm. There is a limited amount of food in the immediate area. Approximately 4-5 miles away there is a substantial amount of golden rod and other nectaring flowers including my gardens which has plenty of ripe butterfly weed, butterfly bush and other flowering plants.
