Observation time was from 5:35pm until 7pm. Temperature was 64 degrees, 37% humidity, clear skies and wind at 4-5mph out of the WNW, gusting to 8mph.Two adult females were observed, one at 5:40pm which did not appear to hang around flying eastward after drinking for quite some time. The other female was sighted at feeder at 6pm. She was very plump and made several return trips back and forth between feeder and east evergreen tree hedgerow about every ten minutes up to 6:30pm. Last viewed flying southward toward our backyard dense hedgerow. Overnight low temperature is expected to be around 48 degrees.
