I was out this morning for a 2 hour walk, and I counted at least 24 Monarchs. They were flying high and fast, not stopping often to nectar, so I did not get a good photo. This is a large number of Monarchs for this early in the season. I am categorizing this as a "Peak" report, but I'm sure we will have days with more Monarchs in early October.
