I spotted 3 immature Ruby-throated Hummingbirds today in my yard and garden in SW Ohio. 2 of them were feeding solely on nectar plants, and the 3rd also regularly visited feeders. All 3 were constantly engaged in defending their feeding areas. The attached image of an immature male stretching, was captured this afternoon.
