With a 10-15 mph warm, south wind it appears many Monarchs are roosting in the weeds and trees, coming out to feed and going back to roost.
Numbers based on about a 3 acre area with several large flower plots. Walking in the weeds near the flowers and trees raises quite a number of butterflies.
