Monarch emerged from chrysalis morning of 17 Sep. After it emerged I positioned it in the garage with door open and it flew off after a couple of hours.
History: This larvae was found 5 Sep on a patch of butterfly weed just preparing to transition to chrysalis (J). Chrysalis exposed and very near roadway, so I clipped the butterfly weed stem and brought it inside on 6 Sep.
