One female hummer visited one of our four feeders at 9:05 am. The temperature at the time was 54 degrees with cloudy skies and a bit hazy. Winds were 6mph out of the ESE. The female appeared to be an adult. She drank from three of the four perches, eventually flying over to a nearby Austrian pine, rested for nearly 10 minutes and as the sun peeked through the clouds she flew off in a SSE direction. no further sighting of her nor any other hummer the rest of the day. The high temperature for today expected to be 76 degrees with an overnight low of 54 degrees.
