Saw 2 hummers this evening. 1 is a female that has been here a few days. I guess she is trying to put on a few more grams of weight before moving on. She's getting plump. The 2 were fighting over nectar feeders and salvias with more than enough to go around. When not feeding they were actively chasing each other. Morning temperatures have been in low 30's with the Saturday (9/29)low below freezing. Highs in low fifties. Quitting time this evening was 6:56 p.m.
