5:30 pm - 4 nectaring in my butterfly garden, one of which was a very large male. The 5th one, female pictured above, after two hours watching, never got off the ground.
She couldn’t ever get both of her wings working at the same time and would walk sideways.
8:00 pm - she’s laying with her wings flat, but they do move when I gently touch her. I put her on a cardboard box turned upside down and placed her under our covered patio.
