I personally saw 2 monarchs nectaring at the VAMC CLC community garden butterfly bush--at least one male. Resident veterans say they saw at least 6-8 earlier in the day feeding--lots of activity. Those I saw personally headed south after feeding. Vets say the earlier visitors did likewise.
