2 hummingbirds, 1 female and 1 immature male were sparring over the nectar feeders this evening. There was some nectaring from flowers but almost all of the feeding was from feeders. I cannot believe how many more immature males have passed thru this year. Unbelievable! If hummer spotted this morning was not one of these 2 then there would have been 3 hummers observed here today. Quitting time was 6:46 p.m. Quitting time intervals are getting earlier by several minutes each evening. Oakdale MN.
