Oh My Gosh Y’all!!!

In one hour today at the Cherry Cove Gap overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, I saw 52 Monarchs flying low with some nectaring on asters. Suddenly there was a stream of Monarchs so fast and numerous I could not begin to count them…just guessing a couple hundred. They were soaring pretty high. It was my first time seeing so many. Truly an awesome sight!!!! It was from 1:44 – 2:44 PM. Western North Carolina.
