Monarch Fall Roost
Sightings report image

Date: 10/02/2018

Number: 30

I am still seeing 3 or 4 clumps of monarchs roosting in my yard tree, right above many nectar sources.
Something unusual is going on too--large clumos are already in the tree as early as 3 pm, and they seem to stay there for the night. I guess they are resting to conserve energy for their journey?
